Pinnacle Airlines Buys Back Common Stock

Pinnacle Airlines has purchased nearly 2.5 million shares of common stock for $32.95 million. The purchase means that Northwest Airlines no longer owns any common stock in the airline. In January 2008, Pinnacle intends to repurchase the Class A Preferred Stock that Northwest Airlines holds.
