United Airlines
United Airlines has won a court battle to keep hold of 14 of its aircraft in the face of legal challenges from a group of lessors. On March 18, John Darrah, a judge in the northern Illinois district court, turned down an appeal against a restraining order that prevented the group from repossessing 14 leased aircraft. The judge also backed United's efforts to prove that the group is breaking US antitrust law.
