The Sultanate of Oman ratified the Cape Town Treaty four days before a delivery to Oman Air, allowing its flag carrier to benefit from a US Ex-Im Bank discount.
Standard Chartered closed the $40 million Ex-Im Bank-backed loan, which finances a 737-800. The aircraft was delivered on March 25.
