The Russian government has abolished import duty on passenger aircraft – but the ruling will have limited impact because it only affects those aircraft with over 300 seats.
The move, which came into effect on November 11, does not include Russian import VAT, which is charged at 18% of an aircraft's custom value and customs duty.
