Fraport raises $440 million for Frankfurt

The German airport operator has raised €323 million through a promissory note issue, part of its advance financing for Frankfurt Airport’s expansion.

Fraport, operator of Germany’s Frankfurt International Airport, has closed a promissory note issue raising €323 million ($440 million).
The funds are part of the company’s advance financing for expansion of the airport. In the last fifteen months Fraport has secured about €2.2 billion in loans, and is preparing a further increase.
