Sky Holding delivers first aircraft with Avianca

New leasing company, Sky Holding, closes its first sale/leaseback with the Latin American carrier.

Avianca has closed a sale/leaseback with Sky Holding for one Airbus A320. The aircraft was delivered to the airline earlier this week.

 

Sky Holding paid all cash for its first aircraft, which will be back-leveraged.

 

Sky Holding was established by former Pegasus CEO Rich Wiley in December 2009, with a $500 million commitment from private equity firm OakTree Capital.
