China Conference: Airlines positive about growth and profitability

Chinese industry leaders at the 8th Annual China Airfinance Conference say Chinese airlines will expand their fleets and improve profits in coming years.

The year of the tiger has brought China a fast recovery with a strong GDP growth, which translates into strong passenger traffic and demand for travel. Chinese industry leaders at the 8th Annual China Airfinance Conference are confident about aviation�s future and demand."Despite the financial crisis in 2009, we had a good profit of $180 million and we�re confident for 2010," said Chen Ke, CFO, Spring Airlines, speaking on a panel.
