The US manufacturer's delayed 747-8 Intercontinental program completes first test flight, with the first delivery set for fourth quarter.
Boeing's 747-8 Intercontinental, the larger and more fuel-efficient version of the 747-400, completed its maiden test flight in Washington yesterday. The 747-8, which has passenger and freighter variants, launched in 2005.
First delivery of the 747-8 Intercontinental was originally scheduled for late 2010 but delayed due to supply chain issues. Over the next several months...
