JetBlue signs MOU for 40 A320neos, converts 30 A320 aircraft to A321s, and defers eight A320 deliveries to 2017.

JetBlue Airways has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to purchase 40 A320neo aircraft during the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget International Airport. The airline has yet to select an engine for the aircraft.

As part of the agreement, JetBlue will also convert 30 of its order for 52 A320 aircraft to the larger A321 model with Sharklets, wingtip devices used to enhance aerodynamics. It will also...
