Analysis: A320neo is a hit at Le Bourget

Airbus makes a splash with 667 commitments from lessors and airline for its new engine option aircraft at the Paris Air Show.

Despite all the critiques in 2010 before Airbus launched the program, the A320neo has gotten off to a good start.
While other lessors spent much of the last quarter of 2010 complaining that the neo would negatively affect residual values, International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) remained quiet and in fact placed the first order from a lessor for the aircraft type.
