Southwest places first firm 737Max order

The US low-cost carrier placed a $19 billion order which includes Boeing's 737NG and 737Max.

Southwest Airlines has placed a firm order for 150 737Max and 58 737NG aircraft. The airline is the first Boeing customer to place a firm order for the 737Max. Boeing says the firm order, worth $19 billion at list prices, is the largest in its history by dollar value and number of aircraft.Lion Air's 737Max commitment, announced last month, is worth more at list prices ($21.7 billion) but is not a firm order.
