CDB Leasing acquires $1.7 billion portfolio

Chinese lessor, China Development Bank Leasing (CDB Leasing) is acquiring a portfolio of aircraft from Gecas. The deal for 32 aircraft with leases attached is worth about $1.7 billion. The portfolio consists of 737-800s, A320s and A330s with an average fleet age of less than two years. The aircraft are mainly leased to Asia Pacific and European carriers.
